Sitting on the soft lush grass of Tillicum Park, Sian tucked some of her vibrant red hair behind her ear. The weather was perfect, well for her type of people. For a vampire. There was no sun out, the clouds were out and covering it, and it looked as if it were about to rain very soon. It was days like this when Sian felt as if she had cabin fever and would often escape from the house she was currently living in.
Dusting off her denim jeans, Sian quietly turned to the next page. Her outfits were usually variations of the same thing; a t shirt, a jacket, denim jeans and some sneakers. Her free hand rested loosely on a black closed up umbrella. Although she did like the rain, she didn't like it when her books got wet. Crossing her legs, she began to tap her right foot softly. As she read, she bit her lip. She was reading Alice's In Adventures In Wonderland, a book she had probably a million times.

If there was one thing that seemed somewhat out of place, it was the fact that Jasper was currently traversing through the park on his own. True he was still in town with Alice, and as much as he adored his mate and her shopping sprees, Jasper much like the other males in the Cullen family with the exception of Carlisle, (who enjoyed shopping almost as much as Alice did) could only take so much before the shopping, coupled with just being around human blood for so long go to him and he bowed out for a while. Not that he knew Alice minded, although of Jasper was being honest he was more fed up with himself than anything. You'd like after ten years of being with the Cullen's he would have a bit better handle on his thirst. But there just seemed to be no such luck on that and Jasper was just going to end up accepting it for what it was. Fate.
With the day having turned out to be the forecasted overcast/rainy day, Jasper hadn't seen any logical reason for cooping himself inside the mall and instead had sought the outdoors in hopes that at a least a little space would give him some time to reign in the thirst of his. Maybe after his trip he'd be able to convince Alice to take a trip with him. Do some high altitude hunting or something. Crossing the street and stepping into the designated park area, Jasper was letting his thoughts wander when he suddenly Jasper found himself crossing paths with another vampire. Not exactly something new in Forks, but usually they weren't of the friendly variety. And with the tensions in the family already, new faces weren't always a good omen.

Feeling small droplets of rain hit her body, Sian looked up at the sky. It was cloudy, as always, and looking as if it would rain any second. Grabbing her umbrella, she opened it and proped it over her head. Grabbing her book, she flipped back to where she had left off. She had read this book so many times, she was actually on her second copy of it, and could recite it by heart if she ever wanted to.
Sian paused as she felt something enter the park. It wasn't human, it was another of her kind, another vampire. "It's okay, I don't bite." she said to whoever had arrived. So paused and smiled. "Okay that's a lie, I do sometimes." she added and lifted her head up.
A smile spread a cross her face as she realized that she wasn't speaking to a new face, but a face she had seen at least once before in her life. "Ah Jasper. Hello."
